competing. against. myself.
so i’m kind of stoked, just recorded my best 3 mile time today. i felt pretty darn good too. my skechers go run ride shoes have been kicking ass and my cardio has been good. i still have minor achilles pain down by the heel but i can work with it. i’m attributing my knee and joint stiffness after runs to old age (42). more on that later.
my pre-run boost tonight was a spinach, greek yogurt, soy milk, peanut butter powder, wheat germ, flaxseed meal smoothie. yum 🙂
so joint pain…ugghh. i’m getting old and need some supplemental assistance. i’m going to change my multi to orange triad, which has some joint health goodness. i also ordered some triple flex by nature made to aid my joints as well. we shall see in the upcoming weeks how my results are.
